BHIMDUTTANAGAR, June 6: A person died in road accident at Krishnapur-3 in Kanchanpur district along the east-west highway Saturday morning.
The deceased is Muralidhar Bhatta, 47, of Dhangadhi Municipality-13, according to the Area Police Office, Jhalari.
The accident took place when a bus (Ma 1 Kha 558) heading towards Mahendranagar from Bajura hit a motorcycle (Se 2 Pa 4867) coming from the same direction. Bhatta died while undergoing treatment at Seti Zonal Hospital, said Police Inspector Gyan Bahadur Sethi.
Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
