KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with 24 Nepali travel trade companies participated in the 31st World Travel Market (WTM) 2010 held at ExCel, London from November 8 to 11.
According to a press statement issued by NTB, the Nepali participants exhibited a diverse range of destinations, products and services to the visitors of the event.
Nepal was successful in depicting the country´s unique tourism products and services, the statement said, adding that the Nepali travel trade companies mainly presented their products targeting the Nepal Tourism Year (NTY) 2011.
During the event, Nepali Ambassador to the UK Suresh Chandra Chalise honored the Everest and Dhaulagiri summiteers during the NTY 2011 launching program on November 10.
More than 100 tourism entrepreneurs, tours and airlines companies attended the event, the statement added.
