KATHMANDU, Dec 20: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) will temporarily halt power supply in various areas of Kathmandu, the capital, today from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon.
The NEA has announced through a notice that electricity will be cut in areas under the Thankot feeder of the Balambu substation, including Naikap, Balambu, Chundevi, Khahare, and Dashchok, for technical installation work.
The NEA has apologized to the residents of these areas and others affected under the feeder for the inconvenience caused. The notice also states that if the scheduled work is completed ahead of time, electricity will be restored earlier than the specified duration.
