KATHMANDU, March 13: Ncell organized a public awareness program on social engineering fraud done by misusing telecom services, Internet and use of social networking sites in Phidim on Sunday.
The program, which was organized jointly with District Poilice Office, Pachthar, shed light on various types of fraud run by misusing telecom services, and shared information on how customers can save themselves from such deceptive actions, according to a statement issued by Ncell.
"It also focused on how users can make good use of social media and avoid possible troubles created by miscreants," it added.
