Maharjan, who did not reveal clear information about his remuneration, was visibly excited about his new responsibilities. “There isn´t any difference in the salary of a player and a coach. There´s an environment for coaches to get three month´s salary like the players in this club,” said Maharjan, adding, “I agreed for the new role for MMC as well because of by old links with the club. I am happy with the agreement.”
Maharjan took retirement from international football in 2005 after almost a decade long career in the national team. He joined Three Star as coach after a year of his retirement.
