Maoist CC meet put off

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Central Committee meeting of UCPN (Maoist) scheduled to begin September 30 has been put off until further notice.



The meeting was to discuss contentious issues including the handover of the keys of arms containers. [break]



Earlier on, the CC could not meet on September 18 due to party Vice-chairman and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai’s visit to New York to attend the 66th session of UN General Assembly.
