KHOTANG, Feb 24: Narbahadur Bhujel of Batase village in Batase VDC, Khotang, received his citizenship certificate at the age of 71 on Wednesday from the District Administration Office.
Bhujel said he was unable to receive citizenship has been unable to receive the citizenship certificate for such a long time as he was unable to reach the district headquarters and the occasional mobile camps organized by the authorities.Due to lack of the citizenship certificate, he had been deprived of social security allowances provided by the government.
Bhujel's neighbors had assisted him to visit the district headquarter for the citizenship certificate.
