UDMF cadres attacked Sha at the premises of the Gaur-based Radio Sankriti while he was returning after an interview at the radio station.
Police said the mob also vandalized his car, Ba 5 Cha 3844.
Police reached the incident site soon after the incident, but front cadres escaped before that, according to eyewitness.
