PALPA, July 7: The Palpa-Butwal road has been obstructed due to a landslide that occurred at Jhumsa of Dovan VDC section of the road on Friday night.
Passenger buses leaving for Palpa and Butwal have been left in lurch on the road due to the landslide.[break]
Landslides triggered by incessant rainfall on Friday blocked traffic, leaving hundreds of travelers stranded.
An excavator have been sent to the site to clear the road block, informed Purusottam Panday, inspector at the District Police Office.
