DANG, Feb 6: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sher Bahadur Deuba said on Monday there are many unsolved issues inside the party though a few of the issues have been dealt with recently.

Deuba, who reached Tulsipur, Dang to participate in a program organized by the Reporters Club, said this while talking to reporters this  morning.  “A total cohesion is yet to be maintained in the party. There are still lots of issues inside the party to be discussed ." [break]

Due to the internal conflict, NC has not been able to give its official opinion on state restructuring, Deuba said. "There are two SRC reports and our party has not forged official stance on either of them," he added.

The SRC should have come up with an unanimous report, Deuba opined. When asked about UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal´s recent statement that NC´s claim to new government is justifiable, Deuba said, "One cannot trust Dahal, he fluctuates a lot. But I thank him for supporting NC in this regard."

He also criticized the government for stalling and being irresponsible towards the ongoing peace and constitution drafting processes.
