KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The death toll from the avalanche at Mt Himlung in Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality-5 of Manang has risen to four after two more bodies were recovered on Monday, police said.
The two bodies were among 12 people who went missing after the avalanche struck the base camp. Four bodies have now been recovered.

Of the 22 Nepali nationals who had gone to establish the Himlung base camp through various trekking agencies on September 15, 10 had safely returned to Phu village, while the remaining 12 went missing after the avalanche.
Police said the bodies of 52-year-old Chhebi Bhote of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-3 and 31-year-old Pasang Bhote of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-2, Sankhuwasabha, who were previously recovered, have been taken to Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu.
The identities and addresses of the two bodies recovered on Monday have not yet been established. Police are preparing to send the bodies to Kathmandu.
Search and rescue operations for those still missing are continuing, police said.
