DHANGADHI, July 25: A girl has died while taking a bath in Kanda river on Sunday.
Saraswati Dhungana, six, of Bhajani-9, Bardawafata in Kailali died after being swept away by the river while Heera Dhungana, 10, was rescued two hours later by the locals.
Heera was found 200 meters downstream at around 4:30 in the afternoon, two hours after being swept away, while Saraswati´s body was found 100 meters further down, according to Inspector at Kailali Police Sudam Rawal.
Anup Chaudhary, four, had also died in the river last Tuesday.
