Fire guts house in Panchthar

PANCHTHAR, June 4: Property worth Rs 800,000 was gutted in a fire that  broke out  in Faktep-6 of Panchthar on  Wednesday night.

The house of Sanjal Chemjong and Ratna Bahadur Chemjong were caught in the fire that burnt to ashes clothes, utensils and other goods in the houses, according to local resident Kshitiz Chemjong.

Police personnel from the Panchami police post and locals toiled for four hours to bring the fire under control, police said. The two Chemjong brothers and their family are presently taking shelter in their neighbour's home. RSS
