DPM Shrestha off to Dhaka to attend UN conference

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha left for Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday to attend a UN conference on People´s Empowerment and Development.



UN Division Chief at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Deepak Dhital and a representative from the Chief of Mission of Nepal at the United Nations in New York are also participating in the conference.[break]



The conference is expected to discuss on the issues of development, peace and empowerment in the developed and developing countries.

DPM Shrestha will return home on Monday.
