KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Condemning attacks on its leaders, Nepali Congress (NC) has accused Communist Alliance’s frequent violence were meant to ‘kill’ its leaders.
Releasing a press release today, NC stated that the alliance was strategically targeting its leaders and cadres in different places to foil elections and threaten democracy.
Earlier today, the Communist Alliance had bombed vehicles of two of its candidates competing for provincial assembly election from Nawalparasi. “Both are safe,” the release said.
Likewise, on Friday, cadres of Left Alliance had attacked Nepali Congress leaders and cadres who were returning from election campaign in Chingsugadi rural municipality, Okhaldhunga.
