Apathy

Everyone in the room starts to act prudent

Does perfunctory deeds as if s/he is independent

The facade of envious creatures participating in the rat race

Plummets like sunrays giving silhouette of a figure a face

The callow lecturer stands firm with his principle upon his nutshell

“Mutual inclusion,” he says imprisoning students in his cold cell

There I could, but to wait for the bell

To ring again so that I could be free from the hell
