MPs make on-site aerial visit of Nijgadh airport

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: A sub-committee formed by the parliament's International Relations Committee has concluded an 'on-site visit' of the Nijgadh International Airport construction site on Monday. The team flew to the site by a Nepal Army helicopter.

Army to hang fewer portraits at barracks

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Nepal Army has started limiting the number of portraits of army chiefs and division, battalion and brigade commanders that are traditionally hung at its barracks. The move comes within a couple of months after Purna Chandra Thapa took charge as the Chief of Army Staff (CoAS).
