KATHMANDU, April 13: Painting a grim economic picture, the World Bank has significantly lowered Nepal's growth projection to a range between 1.5 percent and 2.8 percent in the current fiscal year 2019/20. This is the downward revision of the growth forecast from 6.4 percent that the World Bank had made in October last year.

KATHMANDU, April 12: Nepal can now import necessary drugs from India, with the southern neighbor lifting the ban on medicine that had been imposed for the past one month, following an increasing threat of COVID-19.

The construction works had been halted since the last two weeks due to the lockdown. The cement had been transported to Ramche of Rasuwa district on March 24 and had been kept there because of the lockdown.

According to poultry farmers, lack of grains for the poultry sector has affected production and the lockdown has affected sales of poultry products.
