KATHMANDU: Majority of stocks lacked conviction during Sunday's trading session. The benchmark Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index hovered around 1,320 points in the morning. Following some selling pressure in the afternoon, Nepse fell to as low as 1,312 points.

Gross misuse of budget in the name of users’ groups

KATHMANDU, May 20: Failure on the part of concerned government agencies to monitor the activities of over 350,000 users’ groups has given rise to the misuse of national budget amounting to over billions of rupees each year.

KATHMANDU, May 18: Twenty-eight vintage cars have recently completed a thrilling trans-Himalayan drive from Chengdu of China to Kathmandu, via Tibet. As part of the Trans-Himalayan Adventure 2019, organized by PureQuest Adventures India in association with Rally Round, the cars crossed the Himalayan range in a 26-day expedition, which concluded on May 10.
