KATHMANDU, March 25: Hours after the second coronavirus case confirmed in Kathmandu on March 23, the government said that the entire country would be under complete shutdown from the early next morning. Amid coronavirus outbreak fears, the government imposed the week-long lockdown to prevent people from stepping out of their homes and risking contagion.

Although, the COVID-19 was originated in the Wuhan city of our neighboring China, it has not spread to our country so far. We are lucky in this sense. Southern neighbor India recently has reported about the outbreak of COVID-19 and the number of people being infected is rising.
