BHAKTAPUR, July 8: A scooter driver has died after being hit by a mini truck in Bhaktapur last night.

Pickup van with smuggled sugar under police control

BARA, July 8:  A pickup van loaded with sugar from Dhodharpa of Kolhabi Municipality was impounded by the District Police Office of Bara on Wednesday night. According to the police, 49 bags of sugar that had been smuggled into the country without paying customs duty to the government were seized.
