KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Sajha Yatayat, a cooperative public transport company, has launched 30 disabled-friendly buses from Sunday. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the service at Sajha’s office at Pulchock, Lalitpur.
SURKHET, Nov 28: Iman Nepali of Hariharpur Sisneri feels that he is an unlucky person after he lost all of his family members to a massive flood in 2014. His father, mother and younger brother were washed away by the mighty flood. Iman, who survived the devastation, has been living in a temporary shelter in Girighat along the Surkhet - Jumla highway since then, along with other landslides and flood victims.
JUMLA, Nov 28: Twenty-eight statues of the renowned Chandannath Temple of Jumla were stolen overnight from under the nose of the law enforcement agencies. Irate locals blamed the involvement of the priest, police and local administration in the crime as the temple lies just besides the District Administration Office and the local police station. The criminals broke the back door of the temple at around 1 am Sunday and took away the valuable statues, including the biggest Dattatreya statue.
