Kathmandu, Oct 15: President Bidya Bhandari is paying a state visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar from October 16 to 20 at the invitation of the President of Myanmar U Win Myint, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

Three eminent US-based development economists-- Abhijit Banerjee and his wife, Esther Duflo, and Michael Kremer bagged the coveted prize on Monday for their work in fighting poverty that has helped millions of children around the world.
