KATHMANDU, Jan 21: An 'Implementation Protocol' was signed between Nepal and Israel on Thursday for the implementation of 'Agreement related to temporary employment of Nepali workers in the labor market of Israel'. The latter agreement was signed on September 30, 2020.

Nepse ends on a positive note

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index opened in green in the morning but the index pulled back lower within first trading hour saw the index trade in the negative territory. Later on, the index managed to recover quickly and traded on the positive note in the latter hours of trading.  At the end, the equity market closed at 2,342.77 points with a gain of 15.87 points.

Rs 665 billion required for reviving country's economy

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The local stock market’s benchmark opened the day in positive territory. However, profit booking in the early trading hour pulled the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index towards red at mid-day where the index fell around 30 points. A recovery in the latter hours saw the index recoup most of its earlier losses. Nepse ended the day with a modest 5.57 point’s decline at 2,326.90.

POKHARA, Jan 19: A chartered flight of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is leaving Kathmandu for the Macao Special Administrative Region of China on Tuesday midnight, to bring back home 147 Nepali workers who lost their jobs there due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
