KATHMANDU, August 12: Since 2001, on the day of Gaijatra, the Blue Diamond Society (BDS) has been organizing LGBTI Nepal Pride Parade. And this year too, in collaboration with the US Embassy Nepal and Right Here Right Now, the 19th Gaijatral Pride Parade was organized in Kathmandu on Friday.

KATHMANDU, July 29: One of the important festivals of the Newar Buddhist community, Gunla festival, has begun from today. In Newari Language ”Gun” means Ninth and “La” means month. This festival is celebrated on the ninth month of Nepal Sambat calendar.

KATHMANDU, July 25: Shrawan is one of the holiest months in the Hindu calendar. It is also known as the month of Bol Bam and considered as an auspicious period to worship Lord Shiva.
