She could not tear away her gaze from the perfection of waves as if every drop here was destined to deliver a message into her soul. This gaze was what her eyes were missing for years when she was away from home. 

If women are impure during their menstruation, the same women who bring new life into this world, then are we, who came from the womb of a woman, the pure soul or does our home become uncursed if we make them suffer?   

I could sense this man was oblivious to the happenings of the world, since for him neither the day nor the night seemed to matter, as if time had shedded all its meaning. For him, neither the flow of the river mattered nor the perennial ticking of clock.

Kumari is not only a little girl but the faith that radiates positive energy. She is a symbol and savior for the believer. This kind of unique tradition enriches the cultural panorama of our beautiful country, and steps must be taken at the local as well as the national level to preserve it.

Quietly waiting for the right path pleases me amid rain, storms and fires.
