Karnali and Lumbini provinces have agreed to collaborate on a feasibility study for the construction of tunnels at two locations along the Ratna Highway, which connects the two provinces.

SURKHET, April 24: Yam Lal Kandel, who was appointed the Chief Minister of Karnali Province two weeks ago, is going to expand the Cabinet today for the first time. He is going to appoint one minister each from the CPN (Maoist Center) and his party i.e. CPN-UML.

SURKHET, Dec 16: Some 85 households of Dhoreni in Gurvakot Municipality-13 have been facing an acute shortage of drinking water since long back. So, the municipality designed a survey for a drinking water project last fiscal year.
