RATNANAGAR, Chitwan, Sept 10: Two teachers have been arrested on a charge of their involvement in sexual harassment on their own students in Madi of Chitwan district.
Police said guardians nabbed the teachers and handed them over to the Police Office after they knew about the sexual harassment.[break]
The arrested teachers are Devraj Sakhi and Shiva Acharya of Madi based Jagannathpuri Lower Secondary School.
Guardians thrashed the teachers and handed them over to police accusing sexual harassment to girl students of class 7 and 8 since long.
Meanwhile, police held two persons along with brown sugar from Jagatpur in western Chitwan.
The arrested are Sabin Giri, 19, of Madi Kalyanpur VDC-2 and Sagar Rai, 35, of Madi Kalyanpur VDC-9.Police arrested them while acting on a tip-off.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ravi Paudel, investigation into the case is underway.
