Two killed, 15 hurt in Parbat jeep accident

PARBAT, July 13: Two passengers were killed in Parbat when a jeep heading to Huwas from Ranipani VDC skidded off the road and plunged 300 meters down at Bisundanda village in Shaligram VDC on Monday morning.



The deceased have been identified as Mamata Bhusal and Jhak Bahadur Shrestha, the police said. Locals said the deceased were from Wahaki VDC.



Fifteen passengers were injured in the accident. They were rushed to Syangja and Pokhara for treatment, said Area Police Office, Huwas. Three of the injured are reported to be critical.
