KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Three ministers of Province 1 who are close to the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) resigned en masse on Sunday.
Minister for Social Development, Jeevan Ghimire, State Minister for Social Development, Jash Maya Gajmer and State Minister for Industry Bijay Bishwas resigned from their post this morning.
Earlier on Saturday, Chief Minister (CM) Sherdhan Rai sacked Province’s Finance Minister, Indra Angbo, who belongs to the Dahal-Nepal faction.
Meanwhile, the Dahal-Nepal faction of NCP has registered a no-confidence motion against CM Rai a while ago.
