DANG, Aug 13: Three persons died in separate incidents in Dang on Wednesday night.
Sapana Chaudhary, 15, of Jitpur in Hapur VDC-7 and Sograj Chaudhary of Jamera in Manpur VDC-8 died after being struck by lightning, District Police Office said. Sapana died on the way to hospital while Sograj died during the course of his treatment at Rapti Sub-regional Hospital in Ghorahi.
Meanwhile, one-and-half-year-old Bijul Thapa of Gadhwa VDC-5 died after falling into a well. Thapa died during treatment in Lamahi on Wednesday night, police said.
