KATHMANDU, July 17: The talks between the government and the agitating civil servants held at the Ministry of Finance ended inconclusively on Friday. The next meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The civil servants have alleged that the government did not do adequate homework on the issue. Both sides have agreed to do proper homework for the next round of talks on increasing the salary of government employees.

Finance Minister Surendra Panday and Minister of Irrigation Bal Krishna Khand among others were present at the meeting.
