KATHMANDU, June 28: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started its seventh branchless banking service in Nayabazar of Ilam.
Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that the branchless banking service expansion was part of the bank’s plan to provide banking service in unbanked areas.
Guru Raj Regmi, chief of the bank’s Ilam branch office, and Kamal Kant Rimal, a local intellectual, handed over Point of Sale machine to the bank’s business representative Debi Prasad Adhikari on Friday, according to the statement.
