Students' leader express concern over class disruption in PU

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Chiefs of three students´ unions have expressed serious concerns to the class disruption for long in the Purbanchal University owing to agitations carried out by the local political parties.

Issuing a joint press statement on Sunday, Chairman of All Nepal National Independent Student Union-Revolutionary Himal Sharma, Chairman of Nepal Students´ Union Ranjit Karna and All Nepal Free Student Union Madhav Dhungel have urged to resolve the issues of corruptions and irregularities through talks and dialogue. They have urged the agitating sides to change the style of the agitation saying that university´s entire educational and administrative activities have come to a halt for the last 10 months.

They have also demanded that the government form a high-level probe committee to resolve the crisis.
