Squash tournament begins Monday

KATHMANDU, July 13: The second edition of the CG Squash Tournament will be held from July 13-19 at the Squash Center, Satdobato. Nepal Squash Racket Association is organizing the tournament under the support of CG brand of CG Electronics.



The tournament will feature men´s open, women´s open, veteran´s open and junior´s open competitions. The players performing well in the junior´s category will be further trained by the Association.



Nepal had won a bronze medal in squash during the 10th SAF Games held in Sri Lanka in 2006.



With the view to raising performance in the upcoming SAF Games, the association is starting a training camp. Nepal is also set to organize Asian Master Squash Championship in February 2010.
