Small parties propose candidates from Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: Five small parties --Akhanda Nepal Party, Federal Socialist Party (FSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), and Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) -- have proposed their candidates for the six constituencies of Nawalparasi district.



Akhand Nepal Party has proposed eight candidates under the first past the post (FPTP) electoral system and 18 candidates under Proportional Representation (PR) system. [break]



Likewise, the Nawalparasi district committee of FSP has recommended six candidates under FPTP and six candidates for PR seats. RPP has also recommended six candidates under FPTP and six candidates for PR. RPP-Nepal has selected 19 candidates under FPTP and 23 for PR. Also, TMDP has proposed 11 candidates under FPTP and 13 candidates for PR seats.
