Rs 360m Norwegian aid

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kathmandu has agreed to provide Rs 360 million to Save the Children to implement programs for the project period of 2010-2012, a joint statement issued by the Norwegian Embassy and Save the Children said Friday.



The three-year project is the second phase of coordination with the Royal Norwegian Embassy, which builds on the first phase which started in 2007 and was completed in 2009.



The three-year project focuses on quality education, child protection and children rights governance and youth participation.
