KATHMANDU, Sept 12: The Rastriya Janamorcha (RJM) has protested the price hike of petroleum products and demanded with the government to withdraw the price hike immediately.
Objecting to the statement that the price of petroleum products was increased as the Nepal Oil Corporation is in loss due to increase of price of unrefined oil and value of dollar in the international market, the RJM drew the attention of the government to control irregularities rampant in the NOC. Issuing a press release today, the party demanded to correct the decision of price hike saying the price hike in the petroleum products would hit hard general public.
The press release stated that the price hike would make negative impact in the country´s economy, so the party demanded to withdraw the decision of price hike.
