Prez calls meet with top three

KATHMANDU, May 26: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has called top leaders of the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML for a meeting on Thursday morning to press them to reach an agreement to end the present political impasse and extend the CA term.



A knowledgeable government source told myrepublica.com that the president will prod Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC Acting President Sushil Koirala and CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal to put aside their differences and strike an agreement keeping in mind national interests and sovereignty.
