Police arrest agitating civil servants

KATHMANDU, July 16: Police arrested around five dozens of civil servants protesting in front of the Ministry of Finance at Singha Durbar on Thursday.



The arrested are detained at Mahendra Police Club, Exhibition Road, according to inspector Milan KC, chief of Singha Durbar Security Police Unit.



The government employees were demanding increment in their pay. They had also obstructed Singha Durbar, the nation´s main administrative area, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
