PM confers with envoys

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Envoys of three countries met with Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Friday at his office in Singha Durbar.



US envoy Scott H. DeLisi, Japanese Envoy Tatsuo Mizuno and British envoy John Tucknott met the Prime Minister, according to Prime Minister´s foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai. [break]



During the meeting, the Prime Minister appealed to all the three envoys to support and help Nepal in the election of UN General Assembly President.



Similarly, Prime Minister Nepal and the envoys held discussion about the extension of the UNMIN´s tenure and its mandate, contemporary political situation and other bilateral issues, said Bhattarai, quoting PM Nepal.
