India-based Asian News International (ANI) news agency quoted BSF Director General ML Kumawat as telling journalists that since India’s western frontier with Pakistan is almost fully fenced, they (Pakistan intelligence sponsored militants) have to find some other ways to come into India.
“There is the Bangladesh route, Nepal route or some other areas of sea route,” said Kumawat. “So they are outsourcing or providing help to other forces, which are inimical to India.”
Though Kumawat didn’t say anything further on Nepal, he said India’s relations with Bangladesh have improved significantly after the change of guard in Dhaka earlier this year.
