Sherchan said, "I want to break my own record of world´s oldest person to climb the Mt Everest that I had set by climbing at the age of 77. I urge you all to support in my mission."

The 82-year-old yet energetic Sherchan said the senior citizen themselves should be conscious to ensure their rights as the state only was not in a position to guarantee the rights of the senior citizens.
