KATHMANDU, Oct 8: The central, provincial and provincial sector offices of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will remain open from 11 am to 2 pm during the Dashain festival.
Spokesperson for the NHRC Dr Tikaram Pokharel said that the NHRC will remain open on holidays as in the previous years, prioritizing the protection of human rights of the general public.
The NHRC mentioned that during this period, it will receive complaints regarding human rights violations and excesses and will also conduct emergency monitoring in cases of serious incidents.
