DECEMBER, 29: Nepal recorded 220 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, along with 253 recoveries and two deaths, according to the latest information by the Ministry of Health and Population.
As many as 7,608 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 209 PCR tests and 11 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
There are currently 4,972 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them 4,608 are in home isolation, 256 in institutional isolation, 87 in ICUs and 21 on ventilators and 98 in quarantine facilities.
