Mushroom toll reaches 5 in Dang

DANG, July 19: The death toll from consumption of poisonous mushroom in Tulsipur Municipality-7 of Dang has reached five. The latest victim has been identified as 13-year-old Shovaram Pun of Siddhedhara of Tulsipur Municipality-7.



All the five belong to the same family and include 60-year-old Dhan Bahadur Pun and his four grandsons. Pun family had consumed wild mushroom last week. Twenty-one-year-old Balika Pun is undergoing treatment at a local hospital in a critical condition.
