MAHARASHTRA, July 4: A man has been arrested for allegedly setting his wife on fire when she refused to have sex with two of his friends, informed Akot police. The victim suffered 83% burns and is battling for life.
The incident took place on June 29 in Hanuman Nagar area of Akot. The accused, Kishore Vakad, and his two friends fled the house after the incident. Neighbours rushed to help the victim on hearing her screams and took her to hospital. Vakad and his friends have been booked under section 307, 354(3) (1) read with 34 of IPC.
