KATHMANDU, April 6: The Maiti Nepal has urged the government to adopt a special measure to control women trafficking reasoning the traffickers have begun a new route to deport girls/women to Gulf countries via Bangladesh from Kakarbhitta border pointy of east Nepal.

When India introduced of 'no objection letter' for the Nepali people going to the third countries specially to the Gulf ones via its airport, the traffickers explored the new route for the crime.

The Maiti Nepal, an organization working for long against women trafficking, has reached such decision after a research.

The crime was revealed after the Immigration Department of Bangladesh returned Nepali women heading to Saudi Arabia bearing passport without visa stamp.

The organization added in its press release that it was proved after a teenager victimized in this vicious circle was provided its rehabilitation in the capital city.

Therefore, the government has been strongly suggested to be more aware and take special measures before the problems grew worse. RSS
