Lonely Planet has picked 10 trekking peaks for trekkers. Broken into regions, the treks range from a minimum of 7 days to ones as long as 20 days. Here’s the list of treks to choose from:

Everest Region

• Everest Base Camp (16 days) 
•  Three Passes Trek (20 days) 

 Annapurna Region

• Annapurna Circuit (18 days)
• Annapurna Sanctuary (10 days) 

Langtang, Helambu and Manaslu

• Langtang Valley Trek (7-9 days) 
• Around Helambu Trek (16-18 days) 

Eastern Nepal

• Kangchenjunga North (18-20 days) 
• Makalu Base Camp (13 days) 

Western Nepal

• Beni to Dolpo (12 days)
