GORKHABAZAAR (Gorkha), Sept 20: Locals in the district have retaliated against the general strike imposed by the various disgruntled forces.
The locals have protested against the agitators as they were imposing general strike in the historic day of promulgating a new constitution through the Constituent Assembly (CA). It has materialized a long-awaited dream of people, they added.
Meanwhile, locals are preparing to organize candle lighting program to welcome the new constitution as major parties have urged all to participate on the happy occasion of promulgating the new constitution.
The chief district officer Uddhav Prasad Timelsina shared that locals and governmental and non-governmental offices are planning to organize candle lighting program this evening. RSS
